A little comparison between average worker salary and average executive salary in multiple countries. Notice that (ignoring the US) the ratio goes up as economic success goes down. For example, in Japan an executive makes 11x as much as their workers while in Mexico it’s 47x as much. Oh, and the US (since the “Reagan Revolution”) is at 475x.
You have to wonder why our executives think they deserve to be paid 43 times as much as their Japanese counterparts…
